We take the protection of personal data very seriously. We comply with the statutory data protection regulations when operating our website. We want you to know when we collect, process and use what data, and what rights you have with regard to the use of your data.

Personal data is information that can be used to find out your identity. This includes information such as your name, address, postal address, telephone number, IP address and e-mail address. Information that is not associated with your identity (such as the number of users on the website) is not included. In general, you can use our website without disclosing your identity, i.e. without entering personal data. This information (e.g. date and time of access, URL (which led you to us and which you may have accessed via our website), browser, operating system, Internet service provider, IP address) is stored in a log file. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The storage takes place to ensure the functionality, optimization and security of our website. This information is collected automatically; there is no option to object. After seven days at the latest, the log files are deleted or defamiliarized in such a way that they can no longer be assigned. Exceptions apply to the areas marked accordingly, such as the option to order our newsletter and our contact form.

Legal bases according to the GDPR

We are obliged to inform you of the legal bases for the processing of personal data:

In general, we may only collect and process your personal data with your consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, unless prior consent is not possible, or the law has defined exceptions.

We process the personal data collected about you for the performance of our contract or contract initiation relationship. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Further legal bases for the processing of personal data are the fulfilment of our legal obligations Art. 6 (1)(c) GDPR or the protection of vital interests of you or another natural person Art. 6 (1) (d) GDPR.

Furthermore, we may process personal data if our company has a legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, if your interests, basic rights and fundamental freedoms do not outweigh our interests in a consideration to be undertaken.

We must also point out that data transmission on the Internet is associated with security risks and that complete protection of data against access by third parties cannot therefore be guaranteed. Please ensure that your data and your end device are protected against unauthorised access by third parties and that you always use an up-to-date security software.

We store your data on specially secured servers in Germany. Our security measures are continuously improved in accordance with technical developments, e.g. our website is SSL-encrypted. Apart from the special cases regulated in these data protection provisions, your data will only be stored, processed and used to contact you and to send you the newsletter you have ordered. Access to this data is only possible for a few specially authorized persons who are involved in the technical and content-related support of the order process.

Contact form

In our contact form, we have marked required information as distinct from voluntary information and refer to our privacy policy. For an intended conclusion of a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Your message and your e-mail addresses will be deleted once we have answered your message or if a contractual relationship is clearly not established or has ended. Revocation of the processing of personal data via the contact form is possible at any time via infokrueckemeyer.de and leads to the deletion of all data.

Disclosure of personal data to third parties

We do not pass on your data to third parties without your explicit consent. We are obliged to transmit data to entitled authorities in accordance with the statutory provisions.

Use of cookies, deactivation option, cookie banner

Cookies are used when you visit our website. Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can restrict or deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to notify you as soon as cookies are sent. You can also delete cookies that have already been saved. Please check the operating instructions of your browser provider for information on how to do this. Complete deactivation may, however, restrict the functionality of our website, so that you may not be able to use all functions properly.

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and stored by your browser in order to present you with the most personalized offer possible, which is why you are free to decide on the use of cookies. If you access such a website, the provider’s server may also return the cookie along with the page to your browser. The browser then decides, depending on the local settings, whether the cookie is stored on your computer. As pure text files, cookies cannot penetrate your system or cause damage there. The text files are set by the server of a selected website and sent by your browser to the server we use the next time you visit this website. HydFoam GmbH uses cookies to count page views. A random number – a kind of pseudonym – is assigned the user in the form of a cookie, which the server uses to recognize that the request is coming from the same user, but without obtaining information about the user’s identity or other data. Moreover, such cookies generally only have a lifespan of 24 hours. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. HydFoam GmbH can also set a cookie with a long lifespan that checks the technical settings of your browser and is read by HydFoam GmbH as the first information when you visit the website again. These cookies recognize the calling browser, even after the end of a session and a new page call, and serve to make our website more user-friendly. We do not create any user profiles by using technically necessary cookies. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

When visiting our website, a banner appears informing you that we set cookies. In our banner, we link to this privacy policy. The banner leaves essential information on our website uncovered.

Usage statistics with the help of Google Analytics (IP anonymization, possibility to deactivate or object and opt-out)

HydFoam GmbH uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), to analyse the usage of the website. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in Ireland and stored there. We have activated IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the full IP address will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of HydFoam GmbH, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity, and providing other services relating to website and internet usage to the website operator. We have concluded a corresponding “data processing agreement”. We base our legitimate interest on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and the optimization of our website offer, also in the interest of our users. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics does not merge with other Google data. You can find more information about Google’s privacy policy here:  https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de .

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software using a simple procedure. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in provided by Google at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. As an alternative to the browser plugin, you can prevent the capture by Google Analytics on this website in the future by placing an opt-out cookie on your device. To do so, please follow this link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Usage statistics with the help of reCAPTCHA

As part of our newsletter subscription, we also use reCAPTCHA (“reCAPTCHA”) from Google. We use this analysis tool to check that the registration for our newsletter is not carried out automatically by a computer, but by a human being. reCAPTCHA receives information from our users (e.g. IP address), which is forwarded to Google. We base our legitimate interest on Art. (6) (f) GDPR, as we want to protect our website from misuse. Further information on Google reCAPTCHA can be found at the following links: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/android.html.

We use OpenStreet Map

We use this map service on the basis of our legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to make it easier for you to find us. You can find OpenStreetMap’s privacy policy here: https://www.fossgis.de/datenschutzerklaerung[JG1]

General data protection provisions regarding the integration of and references to our social and professional networks and the video platforms we use

We would like to point out that we are also represented on the social networks Facebook, Instagram, X[JG1] , XING and LinkedIn as well as on the video platform YouTube; you will find these references on our website by means of the corresponding icons (images). All icons are only configured as links and not as plugins. In contrast to a link, a plugin transmits information to the server of the respective social network provider or video platform immediately when you access our website with the relevant icon. Only if you follow the link on our website by clicking on the icon, your browser will automatically establish a direct connection to the servers of the social network provider or video platform, even if you do not have a profile there or are not logged in.

Through this integration, the respective social network operator or video platform receives the information that your browser (including your IP address) has accessed the corresponding page of our website. This is transmitted to the server of the respective operator and stored there. If you have a profile and are logged in, the respective network operator can directly assign the visit to our website to your profile and save it. We base our legitimate interest on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in order to increase our degree of familiarity and draw your attention to the added value. If you want to prevent the social network provider from directly assigning the data collected via our website to your profile, you must log out of the social network or video platform before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the plugins from loading with add-ons for your browser.
